Who would have thought that the chic and modern clothing store, Forever 21 would have anything to do with Christian beliefs?!I only recently found out that the owners of the Forever 21 are Don Chang and his wife Jin who just so happen to be devout Christians.
In their attempt to discreetly share the gospel of Christ, they have written John 3:16 on the bottom of all forever 21 bags.
Awesome? or Hypocritical?
Some say that this sharing of the gospel is hypocritical because the style of clothing featured in the store is sometimes contrary to acceptable Christian wear.
However, I say its awesome. No harm can come out of sharing the good news of the Word of God. The way it is written on the bags is very discreet so that when people DO discover that it's there, curiousity enables them to maybe google the bible verse and learn the very foundation of the Christian faith.
If you are not familiar with this verse, it is as follows:
[For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.]
