Stranded in the Airport parking lot

Sunday, August 9

Thank the Lord.

Today my father and I were now about to drive out of the Canadian airport parking lot and as I tried to start the engine, I realized nothing happened. I had left the inside light of my car on and the battery was now completely dead. My dad decided to go and find help so I decided to wait by the car and hopefully get someone to stop and help me.

My dad left & I popp'd the hood, leaned on my car and positioned my self so that cars passing by would know that I needed help.  A couple cars passed and nothing. . some even passed more than once since it was a parking lot and they were looking for free parking space... still nothing. . . then I prayed. I asked the Lord to send help. Less than 5 mins after I prayed, a car stopped and the driver asked if I needed any help. Turned out that the driver and his family in the car were Trinidadians :) I told him that my battery was dead and he "just so happened" to have a jumper cable.

At the same time my father was now coming back to the car after finding no help and saw the mister helping me. We both thanked him and his family for stopping to help and 2 mins later, we we're able to hop in our ride and go home. :)

Thank the Lord!
