There is no place like home!

My cuzn earl and I should be doing some evangalism down there, as well as hitting up the beaches inbetween.

I'm going to indulge in all the tasty, mouth watering dishes available to me so don't be suprised if I come back a few pounds heavier. I won't regret it! :)

Good Bye to Canada and my lovely friends here. I will miss you . . . a couple days in. . . text me if you love me and stay safe for bana!!

The Devil woke me up early this morning.

Around 6 this morning, my sleep became restless, I was twisting and turning and dreaming things I didn't understand. Then I heard a voice, speaking to my spirit. At that point, I was more awake than I was asleep but still lying in my bed. The voice said, "Do you have time?" My thoughts responded rather sleepy like, as if to say, I'm too tired and I want to get up so I would avoid answering the question. Then the voice responded and said, "Good!" and immediately I went into a deep sleep. I then heard, "I want to show you something." I saw in my dream, my room. And my double dresser/drawers had become two large slot machines. And with my mind I pulled the lever of the first slot on the right at it began to spin and landed on a jackpot for Jobs. Then I pulled the second lever, on the left, and I got a jackpot for cash. At that point, cash began to dispense from the bottom drawers in my dresser, and I stretched forth to touch it, and I could feel and hold it in my hands. Then I immediately rose out the dream and sat straight up in my bed. Realizing that this had me a tact of the Devil. He was trying to tempt me. He was telling me, that he would give me prosperity, if I renounced God and followed him. HAHAA!!

As soon as I awoke, I began to pray to my God in heaven, for I know that He is God, my daily bread. I thanked the Lord for delivering me from temptation.

Christians, do not be fooled by the temporary things of this world. For Matthew 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. The word of God is the only thing that you and I will have FOREVER. Not money, not fame, not your BLING, not your precious house or car, not your degree from Harvard, not your woman on the side, not anything. Funny thing is . . . the TEMPORARY things in life are the only things that SATAN has to offer man. Hm. Pretty sad. But very true. God is the only way to eternal happiness and satisfaction.

Blessed is the Lord, because right after the devil tempted me, and I prayed to my father, I went downstairs just in time to catch the very beginning of Creflo Dollar. :) Good stuff!

If you know me, you should also know that Imeem is my spot. It's where I go when I want to hear music that I've never heard by artists I've never known. Today I found the christian artist, Kierra "Kiki" Sheard. When an artist can make me listen to RnB, that's how I know they've got it going on!! As a teenager, recently finding Christ, I can sooooooo relate to her music, especially on her earliest album, THIS IS ME. Bowlinggggggggg

Last night me and my 11 other friends went bowling and I must say that it was funnnn. :) Jokes throughout the night. There were a couple black ppl movements as expected when black people get together to have a good time. People were tryna psych people out right before they went to bowl .. . . ThaMayor went as far as to hold SoButter's bowling ball right as she pulled it back to make her play. toooo funny. People's were getting strikes here and there. The most notable strikers were Dep.. Lana.. Ox.. ThaDon.. & Myself. MhyzPinkk got one or two in there, and so did some other people, but I did say NOTABLE. :) Tobago-man made the machine malfunction.. probably by playing so bad(I joke).. and had to go get his ball from the gutter . . . maybe pictures will help illustrate this better lol.

Me, I just played the game. Using my size 10 peach coloured bowling ball, I ended with a score of 90-something in my last game. I guess that's an o.k. score for a beginner like myself.

Why were we given free will?

Myself, Knowledge, Tobago-man and Mr. JA had a conversation during bowling night concerning Jesus Christ.

It was argued that Jesus truely hates man kind by giving us free will and then persecuting us when we don't follow His commandments and His word.

THIS IS A LIE.

JESUS LOVES US. FOR THIS REASON HE GIVES US FREE WILL. HE IS NOT A DICTATOR NOR IS HE A TYRANT. HE IS A JUST GOD WHO BELIEVES THAT ALL THOSE WHO SERVE HIM MUST CHOOSE TO SERVE HIM BY THEIR OWN WILL. HOWEVER, IT IS A FACT THAT THOSE WHO DO NOT ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOUR WILL BE JUDGED FOR THEIR SINS AND WILL NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. HELL WAS CREATED FOR SATAN AND HIS DEMONS ALONE. IT IS NOT GOD'S INTENT THAT ANY MAN OR WOMAN SHOULD EVER SUFFER TO GO TO SUCH A HORRIBLE PLACE. IT GRIEVES THE HEART OF CHRIST WHEN HIS VERY OWN CREATION TURNS AGAINST HIM AND CHOOSES NOT TO FOLLOW HIM. BUT GOD IS A JUST GOD, AND IT IS WRITTEN, THAT EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.[John 3:3]

Jesus WANTS US to be close to Him and to know him and become HIS FRIEND. He LOVES US regardless of our past sins and wrong doings... but because he HATES SIN, he asks that when we accept His FREE GIFT of eternal life by simply believing in Him, that we also turn away from our sinful life. When we accept him as our Lord and saviour and ask for forgiveness of our sins, we are instantly forgiven. Our slate is wiped clean and therefore we should strive to keep it that way.

MY first Bible study!

I just came home from my first bible study. It was awesome. I love learning about Jesus Christ. Today's lesson was about being a good christian mentor. I don't know if I'm at that stage to be a mentor but only the Lord knows. Glad to say, I came home and the worship continued with me and my mommy in my room as I blasted Kirk Franklin on my speakers. We salsa'd at praised God together. *HOSANNA FOREVER, WE WORSHIP YOU!!*

Today was a greatttt dayy!

I even got to meet up with my old friend KAV for some All Star Wings! We worked @ wonderland together hehe. I gave him free candy, and he gave me free hot dogs. It was the perfect relationship ahahaha.

Soaking Wet!

That was my condition driving home today. It all started off this morning when I asked mr JA "When was the last time you played football?" That lead to me calling up the crew and we were all able to meet up later in the afternoon for a game of football aka soccer. (minus mhyz pinkk n chiney - y'all were missed)

Dep tried to sneak in an american football but we took care of him.

The teams were Internationals vs JA's.. you can probably guess what team Ms true_trini was on. The game ended with a score of 5-3 - Internationals taking the loss. Soft tings, JA's got lucky.

Internationals, sour from the loss, retreated to my car and whipped out the already filled water guns I had stored in the trunk.

=) muhahahaha!!

And so the water fight began.

Conveniently enough, our field was right next to a mini water park so we moved the party over there.

All in all, the today was grrrreattttttttttttt.

I even got to hit a couple balls at the driving range with my pops earlier today.

As you can see. . .Im not that great but I'm getting there ... lol.

Ever since I gave my heart to the Lord

There has been a complete and total change in my life. I have crucified the flesh and I walk now in the Spirit. All the things that I used to do are no longer appealing to me, because they are dead to me. Smoking, drinking, cussing, lying, ungodly relationships, clubbing and so forth, are all dead to me. They have become things that I detest. I have grown to hate those things because my spirit cannot tolerate them. My spirit cannot tolerate SIN. Oh how I hate sin! I want it nowhere near me. I cry when I stubble into the traps of the enemy because I know that sin separates me from Christ. My very purpose in life is to grow closer to Christ and anything that disturbs my path to Christ needs to be put away and destroyed.

I have become an enemy of Satan. When I was a sinner, Satan was my friend. Everything I did, he loved. Now that I am on the other side, the side that serves Our Father Jesus Christ, he is after me to destroy me. He sends temptations from all sides and cause my wicked friends to plot against me. Nevertheless, I will not fall because I am no longer acting upon my own will but the will of God. Which enemy can stand against me? Which enemy can stand against God? I am glad that I am the enemy of Satan. That means that I am doing everything right!

However, I do realize that I am still but a seed in Christ - A baby that is not yet grown. Nevertheless, I trust in the Lord that I will grow in faith through prayer and supplication and by reading my Bible every single day. Through fasting and my devotion to Christ my spirit will grow stronger. I will become a shining light for Jesus Christ so that those who do not know him might see His light through me and those who hate me will know whom I serve and flee from me. I belong to Christ and he lives within me. Praise be the name of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 118:8

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

Living in a modern world is not an easy thing to do.

Just a little recognition

That's all God asks for.

It just hit me today ... all God really wants, is a little recognition for His work.

People take for granted the fact that if God wanted to strip away the air from our lungs or stop our hearts from beating, He could & we would die. God gives us life. Everyday we wake up and follow our daily routines and completely ignore the fact that the only reason we can do everything that we do is because of God.

The house we live in, the car we drive, the money we have for bus fare, the jobs we have . . . etc.etc... all come from God. If he did not want us to have everything that we have, we would not have it.

This is why God gets so angry when we serve false gods and idols... [this can include pretty much everything and anything we put before God]... Because we are giving credit to someone or something else that has done nothing for our lives. It's like taking the play Romeo and Juliet and putting Simon Cowell's name as the author... Credit must be given when credit is due. Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare and therefore praise and recognition must be given to Shakespeare. Like wise, Jesus Christ, saved the world and God created the heavens and the Earth and everything within it and credit must be given unto Him!!

Try thanking the Lord for allowing you to live each day, it is the least you can do.

Canadian weather is so Sketch!

I'm now getting ready for school so I peep on my desktop to check the weather forcast and what I saw made me question this country in which I reside, called Canada. Immigrating from a warm, tropical island in the West Indies, I have still not grown accustomed to this Canadian weather. It's July. . . . It's supposed to be hot, but yet I am seeing this.

So I then check the weather network to double check and this is what I see.

Today was a good day.

Today was superrrr relaxing AND productive! Who knew those two words could fit in a sentence together. I woke up, listened to some music (Helen Baylor is my new "hero-ness" or heroine if you wanna be technical, but I don't so I'll just stick with hero-ness =] ), studied some psych, cleaned, watched tv(house was good, it was about this really really obese guy who ended up having lung cancer, not at all related to his HUGEness, & that movie with Bruce Willis.. umm.. what's it called again??. .Hostage!! the Mars character is such a sickoo! but Brucey made the movie ill as usual so I had to watch it) Then I went to look for some cars with my pops and then we picked up my moms from the Go Station, bought some jerk chicken(sooo hot!! i had to finish too bottles of apple juice just to stop my mouth from burning . . of course that was after i ate like 3/4 of it and my belly was full.. it was soooo good). Then we went to walmart (Thank God for opening till 10) and I ended up seeing the Hottest guy ever, who knew they existed in markham, and all in all I had some serious family time. I must say, Today was a good day!

Incase you haven't already guessed it, I'm the yellow fella in the middle with the upside down frown on. :)

BloG Life - It continues :)

I recently renovated my life, as well as my blog spot, but don't you worry ;) It will continue to be the blogspot that it was -- a record of my day to day life events and thoughts.


Today is the first day that I feel ready to call up all my friends and let them know what's been going on in my life. Ever since I had my encounter with God, I have, sad to say, neglected my friends and ignored their phone calls simply because I needed to focus my time on God and what he wants me to do with my life. My bad friends. I still love you :)

Today I will also be continuing my car search. [R.I.P. green Tercel - You will be missed] I saw a couple black cars that I'm interested in on kijiji and my pops has agreed to go out with me to check em' out. Wish me good luck!! I pray that The Lord will bless me with a goooood car <3

When the Lord calls your name, Answer.

Matthew 24:45-51

45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Don't wait to be "ready" to accept Christ into your life. The Lord will make you ready when you seek Him. [Matt 7:8] Come now, when he is tugging at your heart and is welcoming you into his Kingdom. Come now, while you have the chance to save your life from eternal damnation. For the wages of sin are death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [Romans 6:23]

This is the word of Christ, My Lord and Saviour.

My mother always told me be careful of boys who smoke and

girls who drink. She said bad company will lead me no where,

she said mind who you keep in your home and the places you

sleep because nothing good will come from it. The Lord has

said that He is Lord of all Lords and King of all

Kings and He has seen the evil that I have done and will no

longer bare the burdens of my sins. But, He also said that if

ye are ready to give your heart to the lord then come now and

I shall take ye into the valley of the lamb. For it is
