Wow. I'm actually 19! It feels like I've been 19 for a couple years now. lol. God is good! I begun my 18th year of life as a sinner, and now I am begin my 19th year of life as a brand new creature in Jesus Christ.
Bless the Lord, O my soul.
On this momentus occassion, I give all credit to my Father in Heaven. Who has kept me close to Him for 18 years. This is a poem to Honour my King. It is extracted from the book of Songs of Solomon, 5th chapter, 10th verse.
Beloved
10 My lover is radiant and ruddy,
outstanding among ten thousand.
11 His head is purest gold;
his hair is wavy
and black as a raven.
12 His eyes are like doves
by the water streams,
washed in milk,
mounted like jewels.
13 His cheeks are like beds of spice
yielding perfume.
His lips are like lilies
dripping with myrrh.
14 His arms are rods of gold
set with chrysolite.
His body is like polished ivory
decorated with sapphires. [b]
15 His legs are pillars of marble
set on bases of pure gold.
His appearance is like Lebanon,
choice as its cedars.
16 His mouth is sweetness itself;
he is altogether lovely.
This is my lover, this my friend,
O daughters of Jerusalem.
Thank you King for this new year of life! May I grow in faith, trust, understanding, wisdom and love. May you teach me your ways and precepts so I may walk in your footsteps all the days of my life. May I walk in gentleness and kindness and reflect your glory each day. I love you Daddy. Thank you!
